1. What types of protein do you offer?

We offer a range of protein options to support different goals and dietary needs, including:

  • Whey Isolate
  • Whey Concentrate
  • Collagen Protein
  • Plant-Based Protein

2. Are your supplements safe to use?

All supplements are manufactured using high-quality ingredients in facilities that follow rigorous purity and safety standards and generally considered safe for use as directed.

However, supplements may not be appropriate for everyone. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new supplement regimen, especially if you have underlying health conditions or take medications.


3. How do I choose the right protein or supplement?

It depends on your goals:

  • Muscle building / performance: Whey isolate or concentrate
  • Digestive sensitivity / low-lactose: Whey isolate or plant-based protein
  • Skin, joints, hair, nails: Collagen protein
  • Vegan / dairy-free: Plant-based protein

We offer protein combinations for synergy and to ensure a complete protein profile.

4. Are your products gluten-free, dairy-free, or allergen-safe?

Check each product page for allergen disclosures. Some proteins contain dairy (whey). Plant-based and collagen products vary by formulation.

We always recommend reading the full ingredient label prior to use.


5. Can I use your supplements while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Please consult your healthcare provider. Balanced Dose cannot provide medical advice.


SUBSCRIPTION FAQ

6. How do subscriptions work?

Balanced Dose subscriptions operate on a 90-day cycle:

  • You are charged at checkout for your first shipment.
  • Your payment method is then charged automatically every 90 days.
  • You’ll receive a renewal reminder email 7 days before each charge.
  • Update your subscription to modify or cancel using your online account.

7. How do I manage, pause, skip, or cancel my subscription?

You can update your subscription anytime:

  • Log into your Balanced Dose account
  • OR click "Manage Subscription" in any order confirmation email or in your account to:
    • Skip a shipment
    • Pause your subscription
    • Change flavors
    • Update your payment method
    • Cancel at any time
  • No fees. No penalties.

8. What’s the cancellation cutoff?

To avoid the next charge:

  • Cancel or modify your subscription before the renewal charge processes.
  • If you cancel after the charge has already processed, that shipment will still be fulfilled and shipped.

No refunds are issued for processed or shipped subscription renewals.


9. Are subscription orders refundable?

Subscription orders follow the same rules as standard orders:

  • Unopened bottles: Returnable within 30 days (customer pays return shipping).
  • Opened bottles: All sales final.
  • Damaged or incorrect items: Replaced or refunded if reported within 7 days.

SHIPPING FAQ

10. How long does shipping take?

Standard domestic shipping typically takes 3–7 business days after the package ships.

Orders are processed within 4–8 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.


11. Do you offer international shipping?

We currently ship only within the United States.

International shipping may be added in the future—subscribe to our newsletter for updates.


12. How much is shipping?

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Delivery address
  • Package weight
  • Selected shipping method

13. How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after the label is created.


14. My package is delayed—what should I do?

Delays can occur due to weather, carrier volume, or routing decisions outside our control.

If tracking hasn't updated for more than 10 business days, email order@balanceddose.com for assistance.


ORDER ISSUES FAQ

15. My package is marked “Delivered” but I didn’t receive it.

Carriers sometimes mark packages delivered 24–48 hours early.

Try checking:

  • Your mailbox
  • Side doors / porches
  • With neighbors
  • With leasing offices

If the package still doesn’t appear, notify us and we will help you file a carrier claim.

Balanced Dose is not responsible for stolen or mis-delivered packages once the carrier marks them delivered.


16. My order arrived damaged or incorrect—what do I do?

Please email order@balanceddose.com within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damage or incorrect item

We will replace or refund the affected items promptly.


17. Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

We cannot guarantee address changes after an order enters processing.

If you notice an error, email us immediately at order@balanceddose.com.


18. Can I cancel my order?

Once an order has been placed and enters processing - or has already shipped - it cannot be canceled.


PRODUCT USAGE FAQ

19. When should I take protein or supplements?

Timing depends on your goals:

  • Post-workout: fastest absorption (especially whey isolate)
  • Anytime meal replacement: whey concentrate or plant-based
  • Joint/skin support: collagen can be taken anytime

Always follow the instructions on the product label.


20. Can I mix proteins with water, milk, or smoothies?

Yes. Most proteins mix well with:

  • Water
  • Milk or milk alternatives
  • Smoothies
  • Oatmeal or yogurt

21. Can I take more than one supplement at a time?

Typically yes, but this varies by product and by individual needs. Consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

If you experience any discomfort or an unexpected reaction, discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider.


22. How should I store your supplements?

Keep supplements:

  • In a cool, dry place
  • Out of direct sunlight
  • Sealed tightly after each use
